REQUEST FOR QUOTATION – ABORIGINAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

The iconic Kal City Centre Project is moving from Detailed Design to Construction.

‘Kurturtu’ (Kalgoorlie’s Heart) will unite community and commerce through new experiences, attractions and special places for ‘Kal life’ to unfold.

The $16 million Project includes the transformation of three (3) local precincts:

  • St Barbara’s Square: A civic heart for activity, dining and events;
  • St Barbara’s Laneway: A junior play space and alfresco area; and
  • The Laneway: A new urban plaza and entertainment precinct.

The Kal City Centre Project team is currently seeking a suitably qualified provider to facilitate Aboriginal business, procurement and employment opportunities for the Project as it moves towards the next stage of development.

The successful provider will work closely with the Project Team to maximise Aboriginal Economic Development outcomes leading to long-term community benefits.

Local Aboriginal-owned businesses and/or regional suppliers with a history of providing business development services to the Goldfields are strongly encouraged to lodge a submission responding to the below Request for Quotation.

Submissions close 25 September 2020.
